Banks and foreign currency regulations:
Business hours of banks: 08.00-20.00, Saturday from 08.00-13.00, Sunday closed.
In all major banks you can withdraw money from your account, through credit cards (Visa).
Major banks are: Atlas Mont, Montenegrin Commercial, Euromarket, Podgoricka, Hipotekarna and Montenegro bank.
Foreigners may import in the country unlimited quantities of foreign currency, which they must report to the customs authorities when entering the country.
It is allowed to take out of Montenegro foreign currency up to 500,00 EUR if during the entrance in the country a big amount of foreign currency was not reported.

Money:
The common European currency Euro (EUR) is used on the territory of Montenegro.
1 EUR = 100 cents
notes: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 EUR
coins: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 centi i 1 i 2 EUR
Change of other foreign currency is made in exchange offices and commercial banks.

Shopping:
Business hours of food stores is from 06.30-21.00h, and during the tourist season up to 24.00h
Boutiques and department stores operate in the period from 09.00-21.00h
In all major shops its is possible to pay by cards Diners Club, Visa, Master Card ...
