As far as the village tourism in Montenegro is concerned, we can freely say that it is in the beginning stage of development. The Montenegrin village households are characteristic for their hospitality, but are not used to use their natural hospitality for improvement of their standard of living.
More famous villages suitable for development of this type of tourism are: Gornja Lastva (Upper Lastva), Pod and Zabrde in Boka, Njegusi, Utrg in Crmnica and several villages on Durmitor. The village tourism appeared on the international market because of the requirement of tourists to get to know habits and customs of other authentic cultures, which can be best seen in rural (village) entities.
