| If you are fond of exotic landscapes, charms of the sea, long beaches and lying on the Sun, you will come to the Montenegrin Riviera, situated in the heart of Mediterranean. | Montenegro would be attractive for tourist without sea, but with the blue Adriatic it is even more beautiful and attractive. The part of Adriatic Sea belonging to Montenegro glistens from dark blue to blue-green colour. The major tourist importance from the hydrologic properties has the temperature of the seawater. The coastal sea of Montenegro belongs to the warmest parts of Adriatic Sea. The maximal water temperatures are remarked in August. For instance, by Ulcinj it totals to 23o C, and by Budva 24,2o C. The best swimming predisposition is showed by the Ulcinj coast, which participates with 30,26% in the total length of beaches on the Riviera. On the territory of the Municipality of Ulcinj, there is the greatest number of sandy beaches, i.e. 66% out of the total length of the all sandy beaches. As far as the Municipality of Budva is concerned, it has the greatest number of pebbly-sandy beaches, and the Municipality of Herceg Novi has the stony beaches. |
