In the heart of the Bjelopavlici Plain, through which the river of Zeta wanders, there is the not meant to be Montenegrin capital, town of Danilovgrad. On the road from Podgorica to Niksic there is a town, whose name originates from the famous Duke Danilo, its creator in idea. The idea of the Duke Danilo is turned into reality by the King Nicholas, who wanted to make from a small town a capital by model of the European cities and laid the foundations to the town in 1870. Today, the town preserved the outlook from the end of 19 th century and represents the centre of the Bjelopavlici region with developed industry of stone processing, but unused tourist potential. On the territory of the municipality, there are several cultural and historic monuments, from which the Monastery Zdrebaonik from 1800 is the most important. The tiny town on Zeta is becoming more and more a centre for creators from the culture from the whole world, who make from the famous stone of Danilovgrad masterpieces. Close to the Danilovrad, there is the beloved excursion site and the real paradise for relaxation – Glava Zete (Zeta's Head).
